🥒 Quick Pickled Cucumber
🧾 Ingredients
- 2 large cucumbers (or 3–4 small ones)
- ½ cup white vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- ½ cup water
- 1½ tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced (optional)
- ½ teaspoon black peppercorns (optional)
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional for spice)
- Fresh dill or coriander (optional)
🥣 Instructions
1. Slice cucumbers
- Wash cucumbers well
- Slice into thin rounds or spears (your choice)
2. Make pickling liquid
In a bowl or jar:
- Mix vinegar, water, sugar, and salt
- Stir until sugar dissolves completely
3. Add flavor
- Add garlic, peppercorns, chili flakes, or herbs if using
4. Combine
- Place cucumbers in a clean jar
- Pour pickling liquid over them until fully covered
5. Chill
- Seal and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours
- Best flavor after 12–24 hours

- Lasts up to 1–2 weeks
