- 2–3 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- Preheat oven
180°C (350°F). Grease and line a cake pan. - Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. - Add wet ingredients
Mix in eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth. - Add hot liquid
Stir in hot water/coffee (batter will be thin—this is normal). - Bake
Pour into pan and bake 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. - Cool completely
Before frosting.
