🍨 One Point Whipped Dessert
🧾 Ingredients
- 1 cup cold milk (low-fat or regular)
- 2–3 tablespoons sugar (or sweetener of choice)
- 1 tablespoon cornflour (cornstarch)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup whipped cream (or whipped topping / whipped yogurt for lighter version)
- Optional toppings: fruit, cocoa powder, crushed biscuits
🥣 Instructions
1. Make the base
- In a small saucepan, mix milk, sugar, and cornflour
- Whisk well until no lumps remain
2. Cook
- Heat on medium flame
- Stir continuously until mixture thickens into a smooth custard-like base
- Remove from heat and add vanilla
3. Cool it
- Let it cool completely (important so it doesn’t melt cream)
- You can chill it in the fridge for 20–30 minutes
4. Whip it
- Fold in whipped cream gently
- Mix until light, fluffy, and airy
5. Serve
- Spoon into cups or bowls
- Top with fruit, cocoa powder, or crushed biscuits
❄️ Texture
- Light
- Mousse-like
- Soft and creamy
💡 Tips
- Make sure the base is fully cool before adding whipped cream
- For extra “diet-friendly” version, use Greek yogurt instead of cream
- Sweeten with honey or stevia if preferred
- Chill 1–2 hours for best texture
